We shot a music video for the song with Little Jack films at Old George’s Hidden Village in Whitewood, Saskatchewan. George Chopping, with his heart of gold and extensive collection of Canadiana and antique glass, allowed us to freely explore and film around the Western town that he had restored on his property. A big thank you to Old George, to my partner Alyssa for playing the fetching barkeep, and Lenard for being the best cowboi doggy, may he rest in peace. This song is for the misfits and outlaws, feeling their big feelings out there, learning to live in their own truth, and loving themselves the best they can.
I want to dedicate this song to trans kids everywhere, those struggling, those fighting, those who are finding themselves and being courageous in a world full of hatred and misunderstanding. You’re an inspiration and I hope that this song can help in some way on your journey.
